Aojiru Creamy Shrimp and Broccoli Pasta

Make a tasty creamy sauce with Golden Aojiru and heavy cream!


2 servings, 824 kcal per serving

  • 2 packets Golden Aojiru Young Barley Grass Powder

  • 8 shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 ¾ cups broccoli

  • 7 oz pasta

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ tsp bouillon

  • Salt to taste

  • Pepper to taste

  • Cracked black pepper to taste


  1. Cut broccoli into small pieces.

  2. Boil water in a large pot and add a good pinch of salt. Once the water is boiling, stir in the pasta. Refer to pasta packaging for recommended cook time, then add broccoli and shrimp 2 minutes before the pasta is cooked. Drain everything after 1 minute.

  3. In a pan, stir the Golden Aojiru powder packets with heavy cream and bouillon. Simmer over low heat for about 3-4 minutes.* Add drained pasta, broccoli, and shrimp into pan and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Plate and serve with cracked black pepper.

*TIP – Make sure to simmer the sauce over low heat. Excessive heat can cause the cream to curdle.
